The Sony corporation introduces their 7" digital photo frame. It is black leather and enhanced with swirl design clear diamond Swarovski crystals.

This frame style also offers 800 x 480 resolution and enough memory for 2000 photos! Two thousand photos is a heck of a lot of photographs! That' s great documentation for about 10 weddings.

Practical moment by moment recording of about 10 people's entire lives! If you play the 2000 pics at 30 second each slideshow rates, it will take almost the whole day to play through.

Isn't it amazing how digitizing images and old-school film wiped out some aspects of the photographic industry practically overnight?

What happened to those "color labs" and places where you used to send your film to be "developed" into photos? Amazing.

February 2012: Pop music star Kelly Rowland began her musical career when she was just a child.
