The auction proceeds will benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation. Thus, the Oz Ruby Slipper Collection, a creative re-interpretation of one of film’s most iconic and revered symbols.

This clever auction theme showcased the dozens of designer shoes -- all ruby red and all embellished with Swarovski crystals -- at the Swarovski CRYSTALLIZED™ flagship store at 499 Broadway in New York City. An online auction was held. The auction celebrates the 70th Anniversary Celebration of the Wizard of Oz film.
